Yo Kai Watch 2 Ganso for Nintendo 3DS
About Yo Kai Watch 2 Ganso for Nintendo 3DS
Yo Kai Watch 2 Ganso is one of the two original Japanese editions of the second game, the version paired with Honke. Nate loses his watch and his memories of Yo Kai, then a trip to the past reveals how the watch was first created sixty years earlier. He teams up with his own grandfather as a boy, fights a pair of wicked Yo Kai scheming against both eras and restores the bond between humans and spirits. It is a warm time travel story at the heart of the series.
The adventure expands Springdale with new districts, a countryside town and more than a hundred new Yo Kai to meet. Battles refine the rotating team system, and the new Model Zero watch brings fresh powers and a second style of play. Trains let you ride between areas, finding hidden platforms and secret spirits along the way. Ganso carries its own exclusive Yo Kai and quests, which is why collectors still care about the split editions long after the combined versions arrived in stores.

Collectors eyeing Ganso should know the modern facts first. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. This is a Japanese edition, found today as a physical import cartridge at prices that stay friendly thanks to its huge original print run. Owners of the digital version from the store years can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS too. Japanese text throughout means language learners get the most from this edition.
The past holds the first watch and old friends.
