Medarot 9: Kabuto Ver for Nintendo 3DS

About Medarot 9: Kabuto Ver for Nintendo 3DS

Medarot 9 Kabuto Ver is the rhinoceros beetle flavored version of the ninth main Medarot adventure on Nintendo 3DS. A transfer student joins a new academy, bonds with a first Medabot and enters Robattles against classmates with strong personalities. The Kabuto theme shapes the featured Medabots and exclusive parts, giving this version its own collecting flavor even though the academy mystery and main story beats stay close to its Kuwagata partner.

Robattles here are thoughtful and tactical. Medabots fight in teams, parts can be targeted and broken, and medals add skills and personality that grow with use. Kabuto leaning players often favor sturdy shooting builds, and the parts pool supports many styles from heavy armor to quick strikers. Between battles, school exploration and character scenes keep the tone warm, while tournaments raise the stakes at a steady pace for new Medafighters. Local friends with the partner version can compare collections and trade toward a complete set.

Kabuto Ver was released in Japan for Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible today. The honest way to play is a physical cartridge from a retailer with an import section, and the Kabuto box is easy to recognize for collectors. Owners who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and keep building their beetle themed teams.

Sturdy beetle power for serious Medafighters.
