Pokemon Art Academy for Nintendo 3DS

About Pokemon Art Academy for Nintendo 3DS

Pokemon Art Academy turns your Nintendo 3DS into a cheerful art school where every model is a Pokemon. Under the guidance of Professor Andy, you begin with the simplest shapes, drawing a friendly Pikachu face line by line, and slowly work toward full illustrations of popular Pokemon in dynamic poses. The lessons are patient and encouraging, teaching real ideas about outlines, shading and color in a way that never feels like homework. Even complete beginners finish the early classes with a picture they can feel proud of.

As lessons advance, the toolbox grows. You gain pencils, pastels, markers, airbrush effects and layering tricks, and later classes tackle tricky subjects like light, perspective and action poses. Free Paint mode opens the full studio for your own ideas, and quick sketch exercises keep your hand warmed up. Finished art can be saved, framed and shared, and special templates let you trace favorite Pokemon while learning. It remains one of the warmest teaching tools on the system, proof that learning to draw can feel like playing with friends.

If you want Pokemon Art Academy now, start with game shops rather than the old store page. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play today. Anyone who picked it up digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own Nintendo 3DS.

Every great artist starts with one brave first line.
