Monster High 13 Wishes begins when Clawdeen Wolf finds a magic lantern in the school attic and releases Whisp, a shadow genie with plans of her own. Wishes twist the school and trap students inside a magical world shaped like a spooky desert palace. Frankie Stein and her friends set out to undo the wishes, rescue their classmates and restore Monster High. The story follows the animated film of the same name, so fans will spot favorite scenes and characters along the way.

Gameplay blends light platforming with puzzle solving and simple combat. Each ghoul you rescue joins the adventure with her own skills, like climbing, gliding or smashing heavy objects. Levels mix jumping across floating platforms, hunting hidden skulls and fighting shadow creatures sent by Whisp. Switching between characters is often the key to progress, since a locked path for one ghoul may be easy for another. The Wii U GamePad shows the map and objectives, keeping younger players on track through the palace.
