Chasing Dead for Nintendo Wii U

About Chasing Dead for Nintendo Wii U

Chasing Dead is a dark first person shooter set in a near future where a strange event has raised the dead and torn the world apart. You play Jake Harvard, an operative sent into ruined zones to fight through zombie hordes and uncover what really happened. The story leans into military mystery, with missions that mix open firefights and tense close quarters battles. It aims for a gritty, mature tone, with ruined cities and desperate survivors painting a grim picture of a world that fell apart very quickly.

Shooting is straight ahead action: move, aim and keep the horde back while managing your weapons and health. Different enemy types force you to change tactics, since some rush fast, some soak up damage and some attack from range. Cutscenes push the mystery forward between missions. It is a modest budget shooter, rough in places, but fans of simple zombie action can enjoy its direct approach.

Today this game lives on through physical copies, because the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023 and new digital purchases are no longer possible. Look for the disc at a retailer that handles older games. If you were one of the players who bought it digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games whenever you like. That keeps early supporters playing while giving new fans a clear and honest path in.

Give it an evening and it will win you over.
