LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey for Nintendo 3DS

About LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey for Nintendo 3DS

LEGO Legends of Chima Lavals Journey takes you to Chima, a kingdom of animal tribes powered by a magical energy called Chi. Prince Laval of the Lion tribe discovers that Cragger of the Crocodile tribe is upsetting the natural balance by hoarding Chi. With his friends, Laval travels across Chima to unite the tribes and stop a war. The world is colorful and wild, with temples, swamps and forests built from bricks. Fans of the toy line and cartoon will recognize many faces and places.

You play as Laval and other tribe heroes, each with skills tied to their animal clan. Combat is simple and energetic, and Chi power ups let characters unleash stronger forms in battle. Levels hide collectibles and tribe tokens for explorers, while vehicle sections add speed to the adventure. Switching characters to solve puzzles keeps the team feeling important. The story teaches lessons about balance and friendship in a way young players can follow easily, and the handheld version keeps the action moving in short, lively stages.

There is an honest catch for new players. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. Physical copies still circulate through retailers and second hand shops, and a cartridge is the honest way to play today. Those who picked it up digitally before March 2023 can still access their purchased games on the system they used.

Its charm has survived long after its release year passed.
