Legends of Oz: Dorothys Return for Nintendo 3DS

About Legends of Oz: Dorothys Return for Nintendo 3DS

Legends of Oz Dorothys Return follows the animated film of the same name. Dorothy wakes back in Kansas after her adventures, only to learn that Oz is in trouble again. A wicked Jester has taken control and her old friends the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion are in danger. Guided by new companions, Dorothy travels the yellow brick road once more. The game keeps the bright look of the film, with candy colored lands, talking trees and plenty of familiar places from the land of Oz.

You guide Dorothy through story levels filled with light puzzles, simple obstacles and items to collect. New friends join along the way, each adding charm and help during the journey. The tasks stay gentle and clear, which suits the young audience the film was made for. Exploring each area rewards curious players with collectibles tucked behind scenery and side paths. It is less about challenge and more about enjoying a trip through Oz with characters children already love from the movie and the classic tales behind it.

A physical cartridge from a retailer remains the honest way to own and play it on real Nintendo 3DS hardware today. One thing every buyer should know first: the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases ended with it. Nothing changes for past buyers, who can still access their purchased games if they bought the digital version before the closure.

That is why collectors keep an eye out for a clean copy.
