Hamatora: Look at the Smoking World for Nintendo 3DS
About Hamatora: Look at the Smoking World for Nintendo 3DS
Hamatora Look at the Smoking World is a role playing game based on the Hamatora anime and manga. In Yokohama, some young people are born with special powers called Minimum, and the detective pair Nice and Murasaki take odd jobs that often turn dangerous. This game tells an original story in that world, with the pair and their friends facing a case tied to a strange smoking phenomenon. Style and character banter carry the adventure.
Battles are turn based, with Minimum powers giving each character striking special attacks. Between fights you explore Yokohama, talk with clients and follow clues through story scenes written for fans. The cast from the series appears throughout, and new characters join the case as it deepens. FuRyu built the game as a companion to the anime season airing at the time, so fans get extra time with a world they already enjoy, plus a mystery made just for the game.

A quick note on buying today helps set honest expectations. Since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, new digital purchases are no longer possible for this title. Look instead for a physical cartridge from a retailer or a good local games shop. Players who bought Hamatora digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on the system they own. A complete copy with its box and manual can be a lovely addition to a shelf of Nintendo 3DS games.
It deserves its place in the Nintendo 3DS story.
