Gyakuten Saiban 6 for Nintendo 3DS

About Gyakuten Saiban 6 for Nintendo 3DS

Gyakuten Saiban 6, known in the West as Spirit of Justice, splits its story between two countries. Naruhodo travels to the kingdom of Khura'in, where lawyers are hated and trials rely on the visions of a spirit medium princess. Meanwhile his friends defend clients back home against a bold international prosecutor. The clash between faith, law and truth gives this entry a scale the series had never tried before.

In Khura'in, the Divination Seance shows the final moments of a victim, and you must find where the visions and testimony disagree. Familiar cross examination returns for the home cases, with Athena and Apollo each taking the lead at times. The story builds toward a revolution and secrets about Apollo and his past that fans had waited years to learn. Big, bold and emotional, it is a landmark entry in the series.

It is worth knowing how sales work for this title today. With the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed since March 2023, new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play Gyakuten Saiban 6 now, and complete copies are prized by collectors. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games as usual. Playing on original hardware keeps the touch screen and 3D features working exactly as the makers intended.

It still stands as a small gem of the Nintendo 3DS years.
