Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger: Battle Cube Puzzle for Nintendo 3DS

About Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger: Battle Cube Puzzle for Nintendo 3DS

Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger Battle Cube Puzzle is a Japanese puzzle game built around the animal themed sentai hero show. The Zyuohgers, heroes who draw power from animal spirits and cube shaped gear, face their enemies in battles decided by puzzle play rather than fists. It was made for young fans of the television series, so the heroes, villains and transformations they love appear throughout in bright and cheerful form.

Battles play out on a grid of cubes. Matching and clearing cubes charges your heroes and launches their attacks, while strong combos trigger the flashy team moves fans expect. Story stages follow the shows struggle against the Deathgalien, with simple rules that let children focus on the characters and the fun of a good chain. Between battles, collecting heroes and replaying stages for better results adds gentle goals beyond the main story. Big combo chains make the heroes moves feel powerful.

Sentai fans outside Japan will need import powers for this one. Since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a Japanese seller is the honest way to play, and tokusatsu collectors list it from time to time. Owners who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS. Collectors still speak warmly of it, and it holds a proud place in many handheld libraries today.

A cheerful treat for little hero fans.
