Cut the Rope: Triple Treat for Nintendo 3DS

About Cut the Rope: Triple Treat for Nintendo 3DS

Cut the Rope: Triple Treat bundles three beloved physics puzzle games into one cartridge, all starring Om Nom, the little green monster with an endless appetite for candy. The idea in every level is simple to grasp and hard to put down: a piece of candy hangs from ropes, and you cut, pop and slide at the right moments to swing it into Om Nom and his open mouth. Stars scattered along the path reward clever solutions, and hundreds of levels across the three games make this a very generous package of bite sized puzzling.

Each game in the bundle adds its own tools and twists. New gadgets like magnets, platforms and time based surprises keep the physics fresh, and levels often have a neat trick solution that feels obvious only after you discover it. The touch controls suit the 3DS perfectly, with quick swipes doing all the work. Sessions can last two minutes or two hours, and chasing three stars on stubborn levels has the classic pull of the best puzzle games. It is cheerful, polished and welcoming to absolutely everyone.

Puzzle bundles like this are perfect family cartridges. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical copy from a retailer gathers all three games in one tidy place. Players who bought these games digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, but the Triple Treat cartridge remains the neatest way to own the set.

Sweet, smart and stacked with levels.
