Crimson Shroud is a role playing game designed to feel like a tabletop adventure played with friends around a table. From Yasumi Matsuno, the mind behind beloved tactical classics, it tells the story of Giauque and his companions, professional treasure hunters called Chasers, who take a dangerous contract to find the Crimson Shroud, a legendary gift said to be the source of all magic. The story unfolds in rich chapters of narration, and every battle is decided with real dice rolls that you throw yourself on the touch screen.

Combat blends classic RPG tactics with tabletop flavor. You choose skills, build combos between party members and roll dice to decide critical moments, which makes every fight feel hands on. Enemies drop gear rather than experience points, so your party grows through equipment and smart skill choices instead of grinding. The adventure is focused and fairly short, but the writing quality and atmosphere are far above the usual handheld fare.
