Elliot Quest for Nintendo 3DS

About Elliot Quest for Nintendo 3DS

Elliot Quest follows Elliot, a king who cannot die but is slowly turning to stone under a curse. He crosses the island of Urele in search of the demon who cursed him, passing through forests, caves, towns and ruins. The adventure is openly inspired by classic 8 bit quests, with a wide world that opens up as Elliot gains new tools and powers.

Exploration is the heart of the game. Bombs, arrows and magical items reveal secrets and open new routes, while tough bosses guard real progress. The world does not hold your hand, so finding your own way feels rewarding. Fair checkpoints and steady upgrades keep the challenge enjoyable rather than harsh. Fans of old school adventures will feel at home, and the island hides enough secrets to keep explorers busy for hours. The pacing is thoughtful as well, mixing quiet moments with stronger challenges so the adventure never feels flat or rushed.

There is one important thing to know before you go hunting for a copy. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Today the sensible route is a physical cartridge, found through a retailer, a game shop or a trusted second hand seller who describes the condition honestly. Those who picked it up digitally years ago can still access their purchased games, as purchases made before the closure remain available to their owners.

It is a game that still rewards anyone willing to seek it out.
