Yo Kai Watch 2 Honke for Nintendo 3DS
About Yo Kai Watch 2 Honke for Nintendo 3DS
Yo Kai Watch 2 Honke is the partner edition to Ganso, the second half of the original Japanese release of Yo Kai Watch 2. The story is the same beloved time travel tale: Nate forgets the Yo Kai, journeys sixty years into the past and fights alongside his young grandfather to protect the first watch. What makes Honke matter is its own set of exclusive Yo Kai, quests and small differences that completionists chase. Playing it feels like visiting Springdale from a slightly different angle than before.
Systems grow across the board in this second game. The town is bigger, the train network turns travel into treasure hunting, and new areas like the countryside of Kemamoto hide spirits off the main path. Battles keep the six strong rotating team, with the Model Zero watch adding stronger moves and a new look. Multiplayer battles and trading give the split editions their social point, since friends with Ganso can swap their exclusive finds and complete both collections together at last.

Honke lives in the import world these days, so here is the picture. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible. Japanese physical cartridges are common and cheap through import sellers, which makes Honke an easy shelf addition for series fans. If you bought it digitally while the store was open, you can still access their purchased games on your system whenever the past calls. Either route keeps this twin edition within friendly reach.
Two editions, one town, twice the collecting fun.
