Witch’s Cat for Nintendo 3DS

About Witch’s Cat for Nintendo 3DS

Witch's Cat tells a small fairy tale about a young man turned into a cat by a witch, and the long road home that follows. As the cat, you travel through forests, ruins and snowy passes presented like the pages of a picture book. The tone is gentle and a little wistful, with each chapter adding a new friend, a new obstacle and a little more hope. It feels like a bedtime story you get to walk through, one paw step at a time.

The play mixes light puzzle solving with top down adventure. You push objects, find switches and pathways, and use items gathered along the road to slip past guards and natural barriers. Encounters are more about clever routes than fast fingers, which keeps the mood calm even when the story turns serious. New areas open as the cat gains tools and allies, and short chapters make it easy to play a single episode before bed, whether you are eight or eighty years old.

A storybook like this now needs a small hunt. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. This Japanese release is most often found as a physical cartridge through import sellers who carry family titles. Buyers should note the text is Japanese, though the simple play is easy to follow. Players who bought it digitally in the store years can still access their purchased games on their system today.

Even cursed, a cat always lands on its feet.
