About VVVVVV for Nintendo 3DS

VVVVVV strands Captain Viridian in a strange dimension after a teleport accident scatters the crew of the ship D.S.S. Souleye. There is no jump button in this world. Instead, Viridian flips gravity, falling up toward the ceiling or down to the floor with a single press. That one trick carries an entire adventure across an open map of spike filled rooms, each named with a joke that softens the pain of the many, many deaths waiting inside them.

The challenge is tough but fair, thanks to generous checkpoints that make every retry instant. You slide through moving platforms, dodge patterns of spikes and escort crew members through rooms designed to test your nerve. A map ties the regions together, and hidden trinkets reward players who wander into the cruelest corners on purpose. The chunky retro art and pounding chiptune soundtrack keep energy high even when a single screen eats a dozen attempts in a row without apology.
