Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori for Nintendo 3DS

About Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori for Nintendo 3DS

Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori is the Japanese release of the game the wider world knows as Animal Crossing: New Leaf. For the first time in the series, you do not just move into town, you run it. Mistaken for the new mayor, or perhaps chosen by fate, you take office with secretary Isabelle at your side and a whole village of animal residents looking to you for public works, ordinances and a town that feels like home.

As mayor you approve bridges, benches, fountains and grand projects paid for by the whole town, and you set ordinances that shape daily life, like shops opening late for night owls. Your own home grows room by room, the main street fills with new stores, and a tropical island offers tours, rare fruit and mini games with friends. Days follow the real clock and seasons, so the town feels alive whenever you visit, even if only for ten quiet minutes.

Wondering where to buy Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori now? The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for anyone. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the straightforward answer, and plenty of copies remain in circulation. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so their libraries remain fully playable.

The town bell rings, Isabelle smiles and another perfect day begins.
