The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Nintendo Wii U

About The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Nintendo Wii U

The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker HD brings the GameCube classic to Wii U with brighter seas, sharper light and a host of thoughtful improvements. Young Link sails the Great Sea to rescue his sister and face the darkness rising over a flooded Hyrule. The expressive cartoon style looks better than ever, with sunsets that turn whole voyages into postcards. Small changes, like a faster sail and a trimmed late game quest, smooth the few rough edges of the original and respect the players time beautifully.

At its heart this is still the same warm adventure. You conduct the winds, explore dozens of islands, solve inventive dungeons and meet one of the finest casts in the series. The GamePad serves as map and inventory, keeping the action flowing, and the Tingle Bottle once let players share messages across the sea. Hero Mode offers a tougher challenge for returning sailors. Whether it is your first voyage or a return trip, this edition is the finest way to enjoy a true Nintendo classic.

A physical disc from a retailer or a trusted game shop is now the way to play The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so nothing they own is lost. Prices vary, so a little patience often finds a fair deal.
