The Legend of Dark Witch 2: The Price of Desire for Nintendo 3DS

About The Legend of Dark Witch 2: The Price of Desire for Nintendo 3DS

The Legend of Dark Witch 2: The Price of Desire is an extra chapter in the Dark Witch saga, listed for fans who want more of Zizou and her world. It builds on the second game with its own stages and story beats themed around wishes and what they cost. The bright art and firm platform action of the series are here in full, with magic blasts, guarded paths and boss fights waiting at the end of each route. Treat it as a bonus helping of a cult favorite.

Play keeps the series recipe of power that rises as you collect energy and falls when you take hits. Smart shooting and careful jumping matter more than brute force, and boss weapons earned along the way change how later stages play. Short stages make it easy to practice tough sections until they feel smooth. Hidden goods reward the curious, and the shop gives your earnings a purpose. Even as a smaller chapter, it keeps the honest challenge and cute charm that made the series a quiet favorite on the handheld.

This chapter belongs to the digital era of the 3DS shop. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. Owners who picked it up before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system as normal. New players should look for used systems where the Dark Witch games were already added, since that is now the way to collect the full saga.

A small extra spell for fans who wanted one more stage or two.
