The Alliance Alive for Nintendo 3DS

About The Alliance Alive for Nintendo 3DS

The Alliance Alive is a rich role playing game set in a world split apart by Daemons long ago. Humans, beastfolk and Daemons live under a dark sky, separated by great barriers and old grudges. The story follows nine heroes whose paths cross as a new hope begins to grow. Guilds across the land quietly prepare for the day the world can be joined again. It is a classic tale of unity against tyranny, told with warmth and a storybook touch that suits the handheld beautifully.

Battles are turn based with a clever formation system. You place your party in roles that boost attack, guard or support, and characters learn new arts by using their weapons in fights. There are no random level grinds in the usual sense, since growth comes from battle itself, which keeps the pace brisk. An airship and guild towers tie the world together as your alliance grows. Fans of classic role playing games will feel at home, while the systems stay fresh enough to surprise veterans.

The Alliance Alive had a full cartridge release in the west thanks to its publisher. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. The honest way to play today is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and it has become a prized item for collectors. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system.

A storybook quest about bringing a broken world back together.
