Star Fox Guard for Nintendo Wii U

About Star Fox Guard for Nintendo Wii U

Star Fox Guard is a clever strategy companion from the Star Fox universe, built around cameras, robots and one very nervous mining business. Slippy Toad and his uncle Grippy run a precious metal company on Fortuna, and waves of robot invaders keep trying to smash the core and steal the loot. Friends of Fox McCloud drop by as the attacks grow bolder. Your job is to watch every gate, aim every camera and keep the family business standing.

Twelve security cameras watch the base, and you switch between their feeds to spot intruders and blast them before they reach the core. Some robots charge, some sneak and some scramble your screens, so your attention is the real resource. The GamePad shows the full map while the television shows your chosen camera, a smart use of two screens. Later stages demand fast switching and cool nerves, turning a simple idea into surprisingly tense strategy. Finishing it leaves the pleasant feeling of time well spent, plus a few favorite moments you will retell for years.

Collectors after Star Fox Guard should shop physical. Nintendo closed the Wii U eShop in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Retail copies still circulate through game shops and retailers, and that is the honest route today. Owners who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games whenever they like.

Keep watching, commander, the next wave is already coming.
