Chasing Aurora for Nintendo Wii U

About Chasing Aurora for Nintendo Wii U

Chasing Aurora is a multiplayer chase game set high in the Alps, where players control birds riding powerful mountain winds. One bird carries a gem and must survive, while the others hunt it down through caves, waterfalls and snowy peaks. The art is strikingly beautiful, built from shapes and colors inspired by paper craft and old travel posters. The wind itself is a character here, pushing and pulling every bird, so mastering the gusts is the key to victory in every round of the chase.

The game was made for local multiplayer, and its modes shine with friends on the couch. Freeze tag style rounds, races and gem chases keep the energy high, and the simple controls mean anyone can join within seconds. Playing solo against the computer still shows off the lovely flying feel and scenery. Rounds are short, dramatic and full of near escapes.

It is worth knowing that the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, which means nobody can buy this game digitally anymore. A physical disc from a retailer is now the honest way to play it. Anyone who bought the digital version before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own console. Many fans enjoy hunting down a tidy boxed copy, since Wii U discs have become small collector items in recent years.

It remains a lovely part of the Wii U story.
