Shin Atelier Rorona tells the gentle story of Rorolina Frixell, called Rorona, a kind young girl who works at a small alchemy workshop in the kingdom of Arland. When the king orders the shop closed unless it proves its worth, Rorona gains three years of assignments to complete. This Nintendo 3DS version is a remake of the first Arland game, refreshed with new art, extra story scenes and quality touches from later entries. It is a warm tale about work, friendship and growing confidence.

Play moves in a calm loop of gathering, crafting and helping townspeople. You travel to fields and ruins to collect plants, ores and monster parts, then combine them at your cauldron using alchemy recipes.
