Samurai Warriors Chronicles for Nintendo 3DS

About Samurai Warriors Chronicles for Nintendo 3DS

Samurai Warriors Chronicles brought the huge battlefield action of the Warriors series to the Nintendo 3DS at launch. Instead of following one famous general, you create your own young officer and live through the great battles of Japan's Warring States period, meeting legends like Oda Nobunaga and Takeda Shingen along the way. Your choices in conversations shape relationships and can even shift how some events play out, giving the famous history a personal angle.

Combat is the series at its most joyful: one warrior against hundreds, with sweeping combo attacks clearing whole crowds of soldiers. The twist here is character switching, letting you jump between up to four officers placed around the map, which adds real strategy to the chaos. Completing mission objectives, protecting allies and seizing bases all matter while the battle rages. Between fights you manage weapons and friendships, and the touch screen keeps orders and maps easy to handle during the biggest clashes.

This launch title now marches in the physical market. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A cartridge from a retailer is the reliable route for new officers today. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, keeping their custom warrior and hard fought victories safe on their systems.

It put enormous battles in players' pockets.
