Picdun 2 Witch's Curse is a dungeon crawler with a clever twist hiding under every floor. You explore dark, grid based dungeons in first person, and as you walk, the tiles you cross light up and slowly reveal a hidden picture across the whole floor map. This time you do not explore alone. A young partner travels with you, and the story follows your attempt to lift a curse cast by a witch. Monsters, traps and locked doors guard every level, and each completed floor brings the hidden artwork, and the truth, a little closer.

You strike enemies with your weapon, raise your shield to block attacks and watch your partner's health as carefully as your own, since guiding her safely through each floor is part of the challenge. Finding the right route matters, because the picture only completes when you cover the correct tiles, which turns every floor into a light puzzle as well as a fight. New areas introduce tougher monsters and trickier layouts. It is an unusual mix that feels unlike anything else on the system.

Buying Picdun 2 fresh today is, sadly, no longer an option. It was a digital only release, and the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases for good. There is no physical cartridge edition either. The players who bought it before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own systems, and they are the lucky keepers of this one now.
