Nintendogs + Cats: Toy Poodle & New Friends for Nintendo 3DS

About Nintendogs + Cats: Toy Poodle & New Friends for Nintendo 3DS

Nintendogs + Cats Toy Poodle and New Friends gives the clever little Toy Poodle top billing in its starting kennel. Poodles are bright and quick to learn, which suits a game built on teaching tricks and building routines. As always, your puppy grows from a nervous newcomer into a confident companion through daily care, and kittens join the household with their own sleepy charm. It is a soft and friendly game that fits any quiet moment of the day.

You will spend your time between walks, baths, play sessions and practice for the contest circuit. The neighborhood changes as you explore it, with shops, parks and other owners to meet along the way. Winning contests and caring well brings in money for better brushes, tastier food and new toys that keep your pets happy. The touch screen strokes and washes feel personal, and the 3D effect makes your puppy seem to lean right out of the screen to greet you.

Collectors still have a clear path to this one. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Seek out a physical cartridge from a retailer, checking the label and case where you can. Owners who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early buyers lose nothing they already paid for.

It remains a title well worth finding on cartridge.
