Medarot 9 for Nintendo 3DS

About Medarot 9 for Nintendo 3DS

Medarot 9 moves the action to a school setting, where a transferred student receives a Medabot and is pulled into academy Robattles and strange incidents around campus. The series long focus on friendship, rivalry and collecting sits comfortably in school life, with classmates acting as partners and opponents. As always, the choice of version themes around beetle medals shapes the Medabots you meet first and the exclusives you can earn.

Battles refine the familiar formula with clear turn order, part targeting and medal skills that can swing a Robattle when timed well. Building a balanced team matters more than raw power, because a broken key part can silence a whole strategy. Between battles you explore the academy and town, accept small requests and grow your parts collection. For series fans this is a polished late era entry that respects the classic systems while smoothing their rough edges.

Medarot 9 was sold in Japan as a boxed 3DS game. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible now. The honest way to play is a physical cartridge from a retailer who handles imports, and school story text means Japanese reading skill helps a lot. Owners who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and continue their academy battles.

Academy life meets serious Robattle strategy.
