Magi: Hajimari no Meikyuu for Nintendo 3DS

About Magi: Hajimari no Meikyuu for Nintendo 3DS

Magi Hajimari no Meikyuu, the Labyrinth of Magic, is the first Nintendo 3DS game based on the popular Magi manga and anime. It follows the early story of Aladdin, a young magi with a magic flute, and Alibaba, a merchant with big dreams, as they enter a mysterious dungeon that has appeared near a city. Inside wait treasure, traps and a djinn whose power can change a life. The game retells the opening arcs that made the series famous, with its Arabian Nights inspired world.

Dungeon exploring mixes action battles with simple puzzles as you climb toward the treasure chamber. You fight with the skills of the main cast, and character scenes follow the anime story closely. Capturing the dungeon and winning the djinn and his metal vessel is the goal of the early adventure, opening the wider world of the series. The presentation uses colorful art that matches the show. As a Japan only release from 2013, it remains a piece of Magi history for fans who import games.
