The writing is a delight, with constant witty banter between Pit, Palutena and a huge cast of characters who joke, argue and tease through every mission. Each chapter splits between soaring flight sections, where you shoot through the skies on a guided path, and ground sections where Pit fights with melee and ranged attacks using a huge variety of weapons. Swords, bows, claws, cannons and more all play differently, and fusing weapons creates stronger and stranger tools. A clever difficulty system lets you bet hearts for greater challenge and greater rewards. Multiplayer battles, both team matches and free for all fights, add even more life.
