Kenka Banchou 6: Soul & Blood for Nintendo 3DS

About Kenka Banchou 6: Soul & Blood for Nintendo 3DS

Kenka Banchou 6: Soul and Blood continues the rough and playful series about Japanese school delinquents who settle every rivalry with their fists. You play a transfer student dropped into a new school where every class, club and street corner has its own tough leader, and respect is earned one brawl at a time. The story is funny and over the top, full of dramatic stares, shouting matches and heartfelt speeches about honor between punks. Beneath the comedy sits a proper action adventure about becoming the strongest banchou in the whole district.

The famous staring contest opens many fights, as you lock eyes with rivals and build pressure before the first punch flies. Combat is free roaming brawling with punches, kicks, grapples and special moves learned as you grow stronger. Winning fights spreads your reputation, unlocks new areas and draws out tougher opponents guarding each part of town. You can roam the school and streets between battles, taking on side scuffles and shaping your legend. Customizing your characters look is part of the fun, from hairstyles to outfits that announce trouble before you say a word to anyone.

If you want to play it now, plan on hunting down a cartridge. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible for this or any other 3DS title. A physical copy from a game retailer is the honest option today. Owners who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system.

Stare hard, punch harder, become the legend of the school.
