Jotun Valhalla Edition for Nintendo Wii U
About Jotun Valhalla Edition for Nintendo Wii U
Jotun Valhalla Edition tells the story of Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself worthy of Valhalla. Her path leads through Norse purgatory to face the Jotun, elemental giants so huge they fill the screen. The hand drawn art gives every region a mythic storybook weight, from frozen wastes to the roots of the world tree. It is a solemn, beautiful journey about pride, failure and second chances.
Combat is deliberate and heavy. Thora's axe swings are slow and mighty, so reading a giant's movements and striking at the right moment matters more than frantic attacks. Between giants you explore quiet lands, solve light puzzles and earn blessings from the gods that grant new powers. This Valhalla Edition adds a tougher boss rush style mode where the giants hit harder and demand true mastery. Every victory feels earned, and every defeat teaches respect for the next attempt.

These days the honest copy is a shiny disc. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for this title. A physical disc from a retailer will get you playing, and prices are usually friendly. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system.
Raise your axe, Thora, because the gods are watching.
