How to Survive for Nintendo Wii U

About How to Survive for Nintendo Wii U

How to Survive strands you on a chain of tropical islands after a disaster, and the locals are hungry zombies. Armed at first with little more than a stick, you must learn the rules of staying alive in a harsh and funny survival adventure. A mysterious masked guide named Kovac leaves cheerful how to books around the islands, teaching you everything from fishing to building a bow. His lessons are jokes on the surface and lifesavers underneath.

Survival means watching your hunger, thirst and tiredness as carefully as the zombies around you. You gather wood, plants and scrap, then craft weapons, tools, medicine and armor from what you find. Combat is direct and scrappy, with melee swings and handmade ranged weapons doing the talking. Night makes the islands far more dangerous, so building shelter and planning your days matters. A friend can join locally for the whole campaign, and sharing supplies while zombies close in is where the game truly shines.

A little realism helps when buying today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible on the system. A physical disc from a retailer is the honest option now, and Wii U discs tend to be affordable. If you bought it digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games at home.

Eat, sleep, craft and swing that stick like your life depends on it.
