Harvest Moon 3D: The Lost Valley for Nintendo 3DS

About Harvest Moon 3D: The Lost Valley for Nintendo 3DS

Harvest Moon 3D The Lost Valley takes place in a valley trapped in endless winter. A strange event stole the seasons, and only a farmer working with the Harvest Sprites can bring back spring, summer and fall. You settle in the valley, grow crops in harsh weather and slowly change the land itself. Raising or lowering ground and shaping water paths lets you build a farm unlike any other in the series.

The land shaping tools are the heart of this entry. You can dig ponds, raise hills and create fields at different heights, which affects what grows and how you reach each area. Requests from villagers and sprites guide your goals, and their thanks help restore the seasons step by step. Mining, fishing and animal care fill the days between building projects. It is a quieter and more experimental Harvest Moon, focused on one valley and the farmer who saves it.

Finding a copy today takes a little care. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for Harvest Moon 3D. The honest way to play now is to look for a physical cartridge from a retailer or a trusted games shop. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, just as before.

It remains a memorable part of the Nintendo 3DS library.
