Super Pokemon Scramble for Nintendo 3DS

About Super Pokemon Scramble for Nintendo 3DS

Super Pokemon Scramble is the Japanese release of the toy Pokemon action adventure known in the west as part of the Rumble family. Wind up toy Pokemon march into battle across a kingdom where a rust is spreading from toy to toy. Your team crosses beaches, caves and fiery fields to stop it, meeting hundreds of collectible toys along the way. Because this is the original Japanese version, the text and voices carry their flavour, which makes it a fun curiosity for collectors who enjoy comparing regional releases of games they already love.

The brawling is fast and friendly. Each toy Pokemon fights with two moves in real time, charging through groups of rivals and facing giant boss toys that fill the screen. Beaten enemies may drop and join your squad, so every stage is a recruiting run. Choosing which toys to lead, and when to swap them during a tough arena, gives the simple combat a layer of planning. Battle royale stages throw your team into a ring of dozens of rivals at once, a mess that perfectly suits the toy box spirit of the whole game.

Import care is the theme for buyers of this version. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases have finished. A physical cartridge from an import game retailer is the route for this Japanese release, and checking the system region matters before you order. Owners who bought the game digitally earlier can still access their purchased games on their own Nintendo 3DS.

It is the charming original scramble behind a worldwide favourite.
