Gudetama: Okawari Ikagassuka for Nintendo 3DS

About Gudetama: Okawari Ikagassuka for Nintendo 3DS

Gudetama Okawari Ikagassuka is a second helping of games starring Sanrio and its famously lazy egg. The title itself asks if you would like another serving, and that is exactly what this collection offers. New mini games, new scenes and even more poses of the unmotivated egg fill the package. Gudetama still complains about everything, which remains the main joke and the main charm of the whole experience.

The games stay short and friendly, built on taps, timing and simple choices that anyone can learn in seconds. Clearing activities earns items and pictures that fill out your Gudetama collection, from raw and boiled forms to dressed up versions for special days. The pace is calm and there is no way to truly fail. It is a game for fans who want to spend a little quiet time with a character they love.

Finding a copy today takes a little care. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for Gudetama. The honest way to play now is to look for a physical cartridge from a retailer or a trusted games shop. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, just as before. Checking the cartridge label and box art before buying helps you be sure you have the right version for your region.

It remains a memorable part of the Nintendo 3DS library.
