Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for Nintendo 3DS

About Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for Nintendo 3DS

Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden is a fast and flashy fighting game that puts teams of Z fighters in your hands. Built by veteran fighting game makers, it uses crisp sprite style graphics and a three against three tag format to recreate the speed of the anime. The story mode races through the great sagas, from the Saiyan invasion to the battle with Buu, with plenty of what if paths for fans to explore.

Each fighter brings signature moves and dramatic supers, while a huge bench of assist characters can jump in to heal, extend combos or blast the opponent at the perfect moment. Choosing your main team and your assists is a strategy game before the fight even starts. Controls are welcoming, with simple inputs for big moves, but air combos and tag timing give skilled players real depth. Local versus battles with a friend are the natural home of this energy. Assist choices make every team feel personal and powerful.

Z fighters can still enlist for this one through game shops. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge is easy to find and is the honest way to join the tournament of teams. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the shop closed can still access their purchased games whenever a versus craving strikes.

Compact, fast and full of Dragon Ball fire.
