Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets for Nintendo 3DS

About Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets for Nintendo 3DS

Gravity Falls Legend of the Gnome Gemulets brings the animated series to Nintendo 3DS with help from its creator. Dipper and Mabel Pines spend a summer in Gravity Falls, a town where the woods hide gnomes, secrets and very strange creatures. When magical gemulets are scattered, the twins set out to recover them before the wrong hands find them. The writing and art follow the show closely, so fans feel at home at once.

You explore the forest and other spots from the series, switching between the twins to use their different tools. Dipper fights with close range gadgets while Mabel uses her grappling hook and cheerful energy to reach new places. Platform stages mix light combat, jumping and simple puzzles, with journal pages and secrets hidden along the way. Grunkle Stan and other familiar faces appear between stages, keeping the humor of the show alive throughout the adventure.

Buying this one now works a little differently than it once did. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play Gravity Falls today is a physical cartridge from a retailer. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early owners are not locked out of their collection. Prices can vary a lot between shops, so it is worth comparing a few sellers before you decide on a copy.

It still holds a warm place in the Nintendo 3DS library.
