Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition for Nintendo 3DS

About Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition for Nintendo 3DS

Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition gathers the complete Fates story on a single Nintendo 3DS cartridge. Birthright, Conquest and the third path Revelation all live here, letting you follow Corrin through every side of the war between Hoshido and Nohr without swapping games. Revelation answers questions the other two paths leave open, as Corrin refuses to choose a family and seeks the hidden truth behind the conflict. As a physical release it became a prized item for collectors of the series.

Having all three routes together makes the full picture satisfying to explore. You can defend Hoshido in the friendlier Birthright, endure the strict planning of Conquest, then unite forces in Revelation with the largest cast of the three. The shared systems shine across every path, from pair up battles and personal skills to the My Castle base that grows with your army. Playing the routes back to back shows how cleverly the writing mirrors scenes and choices from different sides of the same war.

Collectors face a double challenge today, since the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023 and new digital purchases are no longer possible, while this cartridge was always limited. A physical copy from a retailer or a careful collector sale is the honest way to own it. Players who bought Fates content digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS, keeping their chosen paths and Revelation available on their system.

Three paths, two families and one hidden truth.
