E.X. Troopers for Nintendo 3DS

About E.X. Troopers for Nintendo 3DS

E.X. Troopers is a stylish action game set in the same universe as Lost Planet. You play as Bren Turner, a cheerful cadet at an academy on a snowy planet, training to pilot a Vital Suit and protect the colonies. When pirates attack, class turns into real combat, and Bren and his friends must grow up fast under fire.

The action is fast and colorful, with shooting, melee attacks and jet movement that keep battles moving. Between missions, academy life, friendships and story scenes give the cast real warmth, presented with bright comic style panels. Vital Suit battles add big scale fights against huge creatures. It never received a western release, which makes this Japanese 3DS edition a prized piece for import fans. It is the sort of game that grows on you, revealing more charm and depth the longer you stay with its world.

If you plan to pick this one up now, keep the current situation in mind. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, a local game shop or a trusted seller of used games, checked with care before you pay. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so earlier owners keep what they paid for.

Some games age into treasures, and this one is quietly becoming one.
