Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars is a dungeon crawling RPG built around bonds and battle. You play a young Disciple gifted with the power of the Star God, training at an academy while monsters pour from labyrinths called Dusk Circles. To fight back, you build relationships with the heroines of the academy and create Star Children, small warriors who join your party in teams.

Inside the labyrinths, battles are turn based and tactical, with your hero and three teams of Star Children surrounding enemies to strike weak points. Positioning matters, because attacking from the right side builds chains and breaks enemy defenses faster. The children belong to many classes, from swordsmen to magicians, and mixing teams for each dungeon becomes a satisfying puzzle of its own. Back at the academy, events with the heroines raise your bond and lead to stronger children, so time spent talking is never wasted. The loop of bonding, creating and crawling carries the whole journey.
