Ben 10 Omniverse for Nintendo 3DS

About Ben 10 Omniverse for Nintendo 3DS

Ben 10 Omniverse brings the animated series to the handheld as an action adventure where young Ben and teen Ben team up across time. With partner Rook at his side, Ben uses the Omnitrix to change into alien forms, each with powers suited to different enemies and obstacles. A new villain threatens both time periods at once, so the two heroes must fight together to set history right.

Combat is quick and simple, built around switching alien forms at the right moment. One form smashes heavy barriers, another glides or climbs where Ben cannot walk. Rook supports with his own clever weapon, and levels move between Earth streets and alien worlds. Fans get plenty of familiar faces and jokes, while the form changing keeps the action from ever feeling one note for long. The controls sit comfortably on the circle pad and buttons, and most actions can be learned within the first few minutes of play.

Buying Ben 10 Omniverse today takes a little patience. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge bought from a retailer or a trusted game shop. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, so long time owners have not lost their copies.

It still brings a smile within the first few minutes.
