About Xeodrifter for Nintendo 3DS

Xeodrifter strands a lone space traveler among four small planets after his ship loses its warp core. Armed with a blaster and a brave heart, he hops from world to world hunting the power ups that will get him home. The art is bright pixel work, the music hums with energy and the whole adventure is sized like a snack rather than a feast. It proudly follows the classic explore and upgrade formula, trimmed down until every room earns its place on the map.

New abilities open new routes in familiar places. A hover move, a rocket boost and the power to shift between foreground and background layers keep backtracking interesting. Health and weapon upgrades hide behind tough rooms and mini bosses, and the same guardian returns again and again, stronger each time you meet. Death is quick and retries are quicker, so experimentation feels cheap. The whole quest can finish in a few hours, yet finding every upgrade gives it the pull of a much bigger game.
