Wind up Knight 2 for Nintendo 3DS

About Wind up Knight 2 for Nintendo 3DS

Wind up Knight 2 stars a clockwork knight wound up and set marching through a storybook kingdom. He cannot stop walking, so your job is to time his jumps, rolls and sword swings as he charges ahead on his own. A wicked warlock threatens the land, coins and secrets line every road, and the knight plows through all of it with cheerful determination. The fairy tale look hides a serious challenge, since one mistimed hop can end a long and otherwise perfect run.

Levels add new tricks as you travel: bounce pads, moving lifts, wind gusts and enemies that demand a roll rather than a slash. Collecting every coin and finding the hidden diamond in each stage gives skilled players a second goal beyond survival. Checkpoints are kind, yet the best ranks ask for clean runs at full speed. A tournament style mode and extra challenge stages stretch the adventure for players who master the main quest and still want more marching.

A quick word on getting hold of it these days. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible. This sequel was a digital store game, so hunting for a boxed copy will not get you far. The reliable option is a Nintendo 3DS where it was bought during the shop years. Those owners can still access their purchased games on their system and wind the little knight up again today.

He never stops, so neither will you.
