Transformers Prime: The Game for Nintendo 3DS

About Transformers Prime: The Game for Nintendo 3DS

Transformers Prime: The Game is based on the animated series of the same name, bringing Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee and the rest of Team Prime to the Nintendo 3DS. Megatron has discovered a powerful meteor and plans to use its dark energy in his war against the Autobots and their human friends Jack, Miko and Raf. The story plays like an extra season of the show, with the same voice style, humor and loyalty driven heroics fans loved.

Gameplay mixes driving and brawling. Levels send you racing in vehicle form, then shift into robot form for hand to hand combat, shooting and platforming across bases and battlefields. Each Autobot fights with a personal style, from Arcee speed to Bulkhead heavy punches. The Nintendo 3DS version keeps the action readable and the transformations instant, which is all a young fan really asks. It captures the show respect for its characters, treating even side missions with care. The result feels respectful to the source while staying welcoming to complete newcomers.
