The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages for Nintendo 3DS

About The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages for Nintendo 3DS

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages sends Link to Labrynna, where the singer Nayru, who is secretly the Oracle of Ages, is possessed by the sorceress Veran. With Nayru’s power, Veran leaps into the past and begins reshaping history, raising a tower and twisting the present. Armed with the Harp of Ages, Link travels between past and present versions of the same land, fixing in one era what is broken in the other.

Ages leans into puzzles more than its sibling game. The same village exists in two time periods, so planting a seed, moving a stone or meeting an ancestor changes what the future looks like. Tools like the Switch Hook swap Link’s place with objects, opening devious dungeon designs. A linked password system connects this game with Oracle of Seasons, unlocking extra story scenes, items and a true final battle against the forces behind both plots. It stands proudly on its own, yet pairs beautifully with its sibling game.

The modern way to own The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages is refreshingly old fashioned. After the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, new digital purchases are no longer possible, so a physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest route today. It is worth the small hunt. Meanwhile, anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games without any extra steps.

Change the past with care, and Labrynna future will thank you for it.
