Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: Game de Wasshoi!! for Nintendo 3DS

About Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: Game de Wasshoi!! for Nintendo 3DS

Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Game de Wasshoi brings the colorful ninja heroes of the Japanese Super Sentai television series to the Nintendo 3DS. The Ninningers are young ninja students training under their grandfather, the Last Ninja, while the evil Gengetsu Kibaoni and his forces return to threaten the world. This game turns their television adventures into a kid friendly action outing, with the five heroes, their formations and their giant robot battles presented in cheerful style for fans of the show.

Play is simple action made for younger fans and Sentai lovers. You guide the ninja heroes through stages, striking enemies with shuriken and sword moves and calling on the team spirit that defines the series. Giant robot moments nod to the OtomoNin and Shurikenjin combinations from the show, giving big set pieces between the ground battles. Mini activities and fan pleasing touches fill out the package. It is not a deep game, but it captures the noisy and joyful energy of a Sunday morning hero show very well.

If you plan to track this one down, remember that the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer offered anywhere. A physical cartridge is the sensible route, and because this was a Japan only release, import shops and online sellers are where copies appear. Buyers who picked up the digital version before the closure can still access their purchased games on a Japanese system. Check region details carefully, since Nintendo 3DS games are region locked.

A cheerful treat for Sentai fans and young ninja dreamers.
