Sekaiju no Meikyuu X With for Nintendo 3DS

About Sekaiju no Meikyuu X With for Nintendo 3DS

Sekaiju no Meikyuu X is the Japanese original of Etrian Odyssey Nexus, the grand finale of the series on Nintendo 3DS. Explorers from around the world gather on the floating continent of Lemuria, drawn by the mysteries of its great tree and the promise of fortune. As a celebration of the whole series, it brings back favorite classes, mechanics and faces, wrapping them in one enormous final expedition built for the fans who mapped every floor before it.

The class roster is the largest the series ever offered, with nineteen options including the returning hero class, so party building alone can fill an evening. Mapping returns in full, with the touch screen charting forests, caves and ruins as you push deeper into Lemuria. Battles stay tense and tactical, and the huge FOE monsters still punish careless explorers. Multiple labyrinths, a long campaign and generous side content make this the fullest farewell the series could ask for.

The final expedition now departs from cartridge. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical copy, Japanese or localized, from a retailer is the way to join the guilds of Lemuria. Veterans who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, keeping the series finale safe on their systems.

It is a worthy goodbye to a mapping legend.
