Power Rangers Megaforce for Nintendo 3DS

About Power Rangers Megaforce for Nintendo 3DS

Power Rangers Megaforce brings the television heroes to handheld in a colourful action adventure. The evil Warstar aliens have come to conquer Earth, and the five Megaforce Rangers, Troy, Noah, Emma, Gia and Jake, are chosen to stop them. You play through missions inspired by the show, fighting waves of Loogies in streets and other danger spots, with the mentor Gosei guiding the team and mighty Zords waiting for the biggest threats of all.

Each Ranger fights with their own weapon and style, and you can swap heroes as missions unfold, which keeps the action varied. Defeated enemies drop cards that build your collection, a nice nod to the Gosei Morpher and its card based powers in the show. Giant boss fights close out chapters in style, calling on combined strength and quick reactions. Fans can also scan cards to unlock extra content, adding a playful collecting layer to the brawling.

Buying a copy today takes a little patience. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge bought through a trusted retailer or a good second hand shop, and tidy boxed copies still turn up often. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own systems today.

A cheerful treat for Rangers fans who love team action.
