Pokémon Rumble Blast for Nintendo 3DS
About Pokémon Rumble Blast for Nintendo 3DS
Pokémon Rumble Blast turns the Pokemon world into a toy box full of wind up figures that spring to life and battle in real time. You guide your toy Pokemon through fields, caves and forts, collecting more toys as beaten rivals drop behind you. The story tours the land around Toy Town, where a sinister force is stealing the Glowdrops that keep the toys moving, and a brave group sets out to win them back and save the day.
Combat is simple and lively, with each toy knowing up to two moves that you swap between on the fly. Swapping Pokemon mid battle is instant, so building a varied team for each area matters, especially in the busy Battle Royale arenas and team fights. Bosses loom large at the end of each zone, and the hunt for rare and shiny looking toys keeps you replaying stages. Local play lets a friend join the fun with their own collection.

It pays to know how sales work for this system now. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible through the store. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge ordered through a retailer, with condition and region worth checking before you pay. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games today.
It is light, busy and joyful action made for Pokemon lovers.
