Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for Nintendo 3DS

About Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for Nintendo 3DS

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire rebuilds the beloved Hoenn journey for a new generation. You arrive in Littleroot Town as a young Trainer and set out across a region famous for its oceans, islands and volcanoes. Team Aqua dreams of expanding the sea itself, and their clash with the legendary Kyogre threatens the balance of the whole region. This remake keeps the heart of the original adventure while dressing Hoenn in rich 3D detail, from rain soaked routes to the soaring peaks where Rayquaza waits above the clouds.

The adventure runs on the strong engine of the sixth generation games, with Mega Evolution shaking up battles and full 3D models bringing every Pokemon to life. New features change how you explore, including soaring through the sky on a legendary Pokemon to find hidden islands, and sneaking up on wild Pokemon whose tails peek from the tall grass. Secret Bases return for decorating and sharing with friends, and contests add a stylish side path. After the main story, the Delta Episode delivers a dramatic finale involving a falling meteor and a mysterious new character.

One thing has changed since launch: the shop window has closed. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer with stock left. Players who bought Pokemon Alpha Sapphire digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early fans lose nothing at all.

Hoenn's seas have never looked this inviting.
